Tony launched the Emerging Payments Association (EPA) in 2012. The EPA promotes the UK as global hub for payments innovation and the interests of the EPA’s 150+ members, which include banks, card schemes, PSPs, issuers, processors and acquirers who all collaborate to drive change.
Tony also leads the communities of EPA Asia and EPA EU. In 2019 he set up The Inclusion Foundation, a Not-for-Profit Community Interest Company promoting products that help address financial exclusion. He also co-authored The PAYTECH Book, published in 2020. Izzy is the Head of Market Management within Payables and Receivables Client Product, leading the client experience and commercialisation activity for Lloyds Bank’s Commercial Banking Cash Management and Payments proposition.
Izzy joined the Group in 2010 and has since undertaken a number of leadership, business and project management roles, with particular focus on Transaction Banking, Corporate Real Estate debt management, and agile people-focused change and cultural transformation. Georgina joined the Group in 2014 on the Lloyds Banking Group Graduate Scheme. Working in Cardnet, the Lloyds Bank Card Acquiring business, for the last 5 years, Georgina has been primarily focused on developing new products and propositions for small and medium size businesses. This includes designing low cost propositions that support small businesses move to card acceptance as well as developing a suite of value added services that enable businesses to enhance their customer’s payments journey.

Steve Hawkins has more than 20 years of experience working with enterprise technology and start-up business, from resellers to global suppliers. In this time he has developed particular expertise working with multinational partner organisations, advancing and delivering business transformation during periods of rapid growth. At Preoday, he played a pivotal role in development of Preoday’s extensive partner channel of over 40 companies. The channel, which included POS, loyalty and payment providers, as well as industry specific key organisations, proved fundamental to the success of the business.
When Preoday and QikServe joined forces in January 2020, Steve joined the QikServe management team as Director of Alliances, heading up partnerships for the combined business. In that time, the partner channel and customer base has expanded rapidly; the company now has over 4000 clients in 25 countries. Andy Stalsberg is the founder and CEO of Eazy Collect Services, an established Fintech that streamlines direct debit processing for SME’s and Corporates. Through its proprietary payment platform, Eazy Customer Manager, clients benefit from end to end automation via its two-way API. Having been acquired by The Access Group, a UK business services software powerhouse, in June 2019, Andy’s focus is now to enhance their strong direct debit offering by delivering a full suite of payment products across the group’s 40,000 customers and the UK marketplace.
Prior to this Andy ran his marketing business for 16 years aimed at helping leisure clubs drive membership before “keeping fit” was the norm. Born in Oregon, USA, he received his Bachelor’s degree from Lewis & Clark College in 1981. Shortly thereafter, he crossed the pond and has been resident in the UK for 29 years laying roots in Cheltenham with his wife, Alison. Keen on golf, travelling and cycling in the Cotswolds.
